Hey there! I’m Dave Barclay, the VP at MindWire, I have the best job in the world! Every day, I have the privilege of working with amazing clients who are genuinely interested in having happier, more productive people achieve greater outcomes. And the best part? I get to help them make it happen!
My early career started as a restaurant operator and quickly moved into sales. Success in B2B sales led to roles in Sales Management, Business Development, and eventually as a Vice President at a Fortune 100 company. Throughout my three decades in Sales Operations and Leadership Development, I’ve gained valuable experience in developing and influencing others and helping people become the best version of themselves.
During the last 10 years of my sales operations career, I discovered the power of leveraging PI (Predictive Index) and workforce analytics. I became fascinated by the potential of people and their ability to transform organizations. Now, armed with years of experience and expertise, I bring that passion to my clients, helping them optimize their leaders and teams.
I provide value to my clients by first understanding their world and their goals. For some it’s attracting talent and getting the right people in the right seats, the first time! For others, the focus is on increasing sales performance, including nurturing the growth of their highest performers. For many, developing self-aware, intentional, and capable leaders. The good news is, I can provide real, measurable value to any organization that would benefit from happier, more engaged, and more productive humans!
When I’m not busy supporting my clients, I’m a proud husband to a dedicated RN, and father of two incredible young adults. I grew up and spent the first half of my life in snow country before happily transitioning to the Arizona sun. I’m a student of the Japanese language and spend a lot of time with home improvement activities. I never seem to run out of projects!
