Craig Bardenheuer
Executive Coach
Today’s companies are made of people who must learn to thrive in fluid business conditions and ever-changing organizations. Sustainable success of these companies depends on individual performance and success. Craig’s coaching philosophy — that it’s important to consider both the individual and the organization context in a coaching relationship — comes from more than 35 years of experience in business and technology roles from individual contributor to senior executive for companies such as Juniper Networks, Hewlett Packard, and Texas Instruments. Where people thrive, companies tend to thrive as well.
As successful leaders in complex environments need the best from the people around them, it’s not surprising that Craig found coaching to be a critical leadership skill in creating team success. First as informal coach, then beginning formally in 2007, he has worked with individuals and teams throughout organizations to help them perform beyond their preconceived potential. His practice now extends internationally to coaching relationships with high-potential and high-performing individuals at companies such as Akamai, Alkermes, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, enfoPoint Solutions, Intuitive Surgical, Juniper Networks, Microsoft, VMware, and others. Drawing on his business experience in the fast moving technology industry, Craig works to help individuals stretch to see opportunity more clearly, learn to take smart risks, and span organizational boundaries to create success.
Craig is currently principal and founder of create-innovate-operate, a consulting firm that uses creativity, innovation, and coaching to fuel client business growth.
Craig’s foundation is his wife, Tina, their three boys, their friends, and the community. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Bare Hill Rowing Association, former member of his town’s Planning Board and is currently Chair of his church’s Operating Board. When it’s playtime,
Craig’s passion is music – both listening to it and making it on one of his beloved guitars from an ever-growing collection.
Craig completed is MBA in Management from Hardin-Simmons University and a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. He currently resides in Massachusetts.
